It feels like it's actively getting involved in the dialogue about harmful stereotypes in gaming- the portrayal of the male damsel is a pointed comment on hurtful tropes about women, and feels like they're saying "this is what happens when a man gets the same treatment." It's woke as hell and I love it.
The previous topic is, without a doubt, just a troll attempting to fan the flames of a very tender issue, playing a completely unrealistic character of a radical feminist and laughing as people leap to assume that we're actually *that* cluelessly angry.
Such is the problem with any partisan dialogue. The loudest voices on either side are either the crazy idiots who genuinely don't speak for their respective communities, or worse, malicious trolls who want to demonize their opponents by essentially framing them.
Feminists are not worried about Spelunky. I promise.
