The only games which are close to Dark Souls at all are:
Lords of the Fallen and Bound in Blood (similar in gameplay but not in atmosphere and concept) and
Infinity Blade 2/3 (similar atmosphere but not gameplay).
It was amazing back then when all those games were in there prime but I get what you mean now, after demon/dark souls all rpg combat seems boring in comparison. Demon/dark souls gives you the most freedom and control over your actions and if you die it's your own fault because you made a mistake.
You type stuff and it pops answers.
There is another stuff very helpful - it's called metacritic - good for reviews.
THere is also youtube.com that has many user made reviews.
You just can't be lazy. Answers are in hand's reach.
You don't have to be a jackoff, but I guess that makes you feel better so keep up the douche work you aZZhat you. I wonder why people like you even bother commenting, but I guess certain people can't pass on an opportunity to show why their mother's not having an abortion was bad for humanity.
I know that feeling, I got a treatment for it, but seeing your friends turning into hollows while you watch is not better either...
But no, I wouldn't say it's like Dark Souls. I'd compare it more to Darksiders.... however this is still a great game!
Darksiders, definitely. Where technique doesn't really reward you with a higher rank or anything, but just generates more bonuses. Also a little bit of Batman atmosphere-wise when running around modern Castlevania City, but that's kind of reaching. It's also pretty Darksiders-ish in that regard later on when archdemons are common.
