Best Boss fight?
Mine would be the Gorgon as it stuck out as the first epic bossfight of the game, made you utilise a range of powers, mixed in ground combat and some slight platforming. Lastly (but defintely not least), it played out to the epic music track from the original E3 trailer to help keep you pumped throughout.

There were some good fights later on as well that involved clever use of mechanics (e.g. Camilla) and ones that had a good build-up/intro (e.g. Toymaker) but unlike the first LOS, it seemed that all the boss battles actually got a lot easier as the game went on. Perhaps this was done intentially to reflect Dracula regaining his power.

Here's how I'd rank the Boss fights in terms of my enjoyment of them

Toymaker
Carmilla
Gorgon
Volkova 1 and 2
Death
Victor
Paladin
.
.
Inner Dracula
Second Acolyte's statues
.
Agreus
.
.
.
.
.
.
Satan

If I'm forgotting others, then they were well, sadly forgetable. But still sad that Satan ended up lowest on the list.

Credit to MercurySteam for the majority of the boss fights though. Death was actually my hardest battle since his Scythe attacks were hard to read at the start and I died a few times.

I felt quite a few of the boss battles were dissappointing compared to the first one. The first one seemed to had bossbattles with a certain iconic flavour to them (not just the titans, but bosses like Cornel, Carmila, Pan etc. as well.

In LoS2 a lot of the bosses felt very generic in their mechanics. Despite this I enjoyed Carmila, Death and the Gorgon the most. For me, most of the others felt very forgettable as Centuryon said. I agree that the Gorgon stood out and I was hoping for MORE of these fights especially since that is the 2nd or 3rd bossfight in the game.

Found that in the Death fight if you stand close to him you can use that flip over attack (LT+A then X,X,X) repeatedly to jump to the other side of him and hit him in the back. Seemed almost too effective. Hard part for me was that I didnt realise you had to kill the corpses up on the wall that were summoning the other undead until about 5 waves in.

Victor was another fun Boss fight now that you mention it, more of a nostalgia trip back to the first LOS game. Inner Dracula was disappointingly easy.

Fighting and defeating Carmilla in this game felt a lot more satisfying than in LoS1 for some reason to me at least.

Hah, forgot about the Second Acolyte in my list, well, his statues. Guess I might as well put him just above Agreus.

EDIT2: Aaaand Inner Dracula, lol. For me that fight was over in a breeze. What a wasted opportunity.

The first acolyte battle was my most enjoyed one, because for me it was the most difficult one. I died a good amount, she did a lot of damage, and Zobek's magic made for a nice atmospheric battle arena. The other fights I didn't die on, mainly because any fight afterward I had a lot of upgrades for and any of the fights before seemed to exist with the sole purpose of teaching me a game mechanic and NOT for testing my skill.

Toymaker was really awesome build up..... but in terms of kickass, I have to go with the blood golem... it really set the stage for Dracula actually having a weakness, his own blood rebelling against him, literally, not figuratively like his offspring.... But sadly it never came to a definitive ending, just Leechy D saying "Always I want 2 B with U and Make Believe with U"..... there's so much they could've done with the corrupt blood, the game had it setup so good right off the bat!

I would've really liked some crazy Satan fight where attempts to possess Dracula himself, saying some hardcore biblical ♥♥♥♥ like "I lived in the hearts of men, now yours will do!"
Then an Epic Showdown begins on the Blood Portal Place (Where courage wolf guides you, yeah, with all the whispers n sh*t)

Drac says a few things, all his blood rebels with him, Satan is pulled back for a bit...

Cuts to real world... Drac holds Satan at bay for a bit, says to Alucard that now is the time, proud of you son, etc..... then he's impaled via the cross by him..... bright light n effects sorta how Drac went rat form, but getting white hot instead....

Cut back to blood world burning with white light, Drac aging back to his ugly grandpa form to symbolize it's game over, close up on Satan screaming at his complete failure, then utter horror across Satans face as camera turns to the center of the white fire.... then ghost babe appears and Drac is lifted from the burning bloodbath, gets angelic, young or whatever. Satan is fully engulfed in the flames and is destroyed with his worst nightmare coming true, a corrupted soul redeeming itself. Then camera shows from Satans perspective him kissing angel babe as flames at the edges of the screen expand and turn the entire screen white with Satan voice fading out to show he's been destroyed.

Alucard sees the remaining blood, wealth etc, has been inherited to him, and starts pimpin.
