By that logic, killing Satan itself should be impossible too. I expected him to just get up and say something like "Looks like my time has not yet arrived." I mean, he's been around since creation, so you'd think he'd be emotional while "in the moment" but when he realizes he can't take over yet, he should get cold and uncaring. What another millenium to an immortal?
True. He is also "The Lord of Death", so he's as close as there is to a "Death". He chooses to take on that mantle/personification.
Also to be fair, SATAN also gets whooped easily by Dracula, twice, and one of those times was when he was still a mere human.
Oh well, sucks to be him.
