Sooo anyone seeing this so-called bad game yet?

Because I just went 8 hours straight on the game and I'm having the time of my life on Lord of Shadow difficulty. I've only seen 2 extremely short stealth parts(like 5minutes worth), good story so far(Just got my fire claws back), and awesome combat(LoS1 taught me the greatest gift of all: parry).

Soooooooo when do I get to the bad parts? anyone who can fill me out? I kinda like to know when stuff like that happens so I can expect it; or are the reviewers high on Opium and melted Skittles again?

How did you unlock lord of shadow difficulty already?
anyway, yeah the game is legitimately awesome as hell.
that part with agreus however, can go to the lowest visible depths of hell, no, really, that agreus stealth section was just mortifyingly bad. it wasn't even fun, it was "AH! NO! NOT THE RAPE SPEAR OF WHIRLWINDY DEATH! NOT THE RAPESPEAR OF WHIRLWINDY DEATH!! NOOOOOO!!!"ajslfsajlkfjlkas
Use mist form whenever agreus spots you guys, it can save your ass, he'll pass right through you and then lose track of you if you're lucky.

i think i'm over with the stealth part of the game, overall it is trully amazing so far! combat system works perfect

Probaly the lack of a deeper combat system, which on It's own is still pretty fun, and the terrible beginning. And not the first 30 minutes of the game. That part was so badass haha. Oh and the fact the game didn't come with the OST. The music is just so damn good I was really hoping to own it along side purchasing the game.

So it's not just me who thinks I spent my 53.99 on a well-worh purchase? Guess we need to get the reviewers to rehab again.

We're gonna need a upturned basket, a trail of M&M's, and a digital HD copy of SoTN.

TBH I think all the reviewers are playing a different game.. I KNOW it's not the same one I'm playing.

This game is fantastic.

I was just thinking "where is this bad game" myself.

The stealth sections only really have one solution but really, they are not that hard and definitely not poorly exectuted... If you make a mistake, you die... so what?

As for the rest of the game, I'm pretty much enjoying it. A solid 60+ fps throughout, great graphics, great voice acting, nods to past CV games, fantastic soundtrack and solid combat.

Combat will be compared to God of War no doubt, but who cares? it's good and it works.

I've got a feeling that most game reviewers have a job because they can string words together and are not actually gamers or they review games that they are not going to like anyway.

Someone knows how i can return to the first stage of the game? Because i've chenged the resolution and i want to play the game from the begin again.

Disable steam cloud for the game (rightclick the game from your list, select properties and then updates, tick box is at bottom)

I believe you should be able to start a new game on the naim menu. If you're still in your first playthrough, just exit the game, and go back in. you'll be on the main menu.

i just wish there was an unlockable for unlimited void sword or claws....i mean sure it would make the game super easy but damn it would be fun to be able to do all the combos at will like a dmc game

but other than that, the reviewers are certified idiots, i dont know how anyone can objectivly call this game a bad game

About the reviewers, they are idiots for sure. If Konami changes the name of the game to Call of Dracula, the reviewers would say "The game is epic! Perfect work of art". Reviewers sucks...and the idiots that believe in them are worse.

About the reviewers, they are idiots for sure. If Konami changes the name of the game to Call of Dracula, the reviewers would say "The game is epic! Perfect work of art". Reviewers sucks...and the idiots that believe in them are worse.

Call of Dracula actually sounds like a good name for DLC.

I won't say it's a bad game. It's pretty good actually. But I know this: if you think you're done with the stealth part of the game and you still think it's pretty amazing, then no. You still have to get to THAT stealth section.

Believe me, the game would be amazing, but only WITHOUT it.

Call of Dracula actually sounds like a good name for DLC.

Then they'd ironically say "Call of dracula is a very strange game in that it's trying to imitate castlevania in almost every way, with a few ingenious touches, the idea of a belmont going to defeat three lords of shadow by way of rampaging through armies of infamous iconic halloween monsters is clearly a castlevania thing, so it's strange to see the call of dracula, in which dracula only makes an appearance at the end, so blatantly imitating it. in fact, if I had to say anything, it seems like the devs took the idea of the classic rondo of blood gameplay and then drastically enhanced the formula for platforming, and the focus on strategic combat and enhanced it with contemporary gameplay elements. it's a fairly solid game that pays homage to castlevania without actually taking the name, in truth, I kinda find myself wishing it were called castlevania, because then the whole "plot twist" at the end would make more sense and have more impact, as it is however, i find myself detached from the plot, the characters, while nice, don't have the necessary feeling of importance. at the end of the day call of dracula is a ripoff of castlevania's concepts of strategic thinking merged seamlessly with the combat elements of god of war, but its blatant use of castlevania references, right up to cornell, makes me wish this had been a castlevania game. until then, this game gets a 6 out of ten for being a modest, solid, yet halfhearted experience that could have been great, had they only changed the name."
