*spoilers* Stuck: "There is a conclave inside the Basilica in the city", can't find a way in

I'm stuck at the part where you're supposed to find and beat the final boss (I think). Alucard did whatever he was supposed to do and now I need to beat the last acolyte. The GPS map takes me to outside a church where you start the game as weak Dracula. There are those giant goat beasts roaming around and I see a purple haze like where Trevor was evading me earlier in the game. There is no way up.

I don't know how to get back there, up and inside. The map is showing me to go here but it looks like the way in from here was destroyed. Honestly, I forget about this part completely.

There is probably another way in, but this is where the map is showing me to go.

Can someone please help? I cannot continue the quest without knowing where to go!

A video would help but so would screenshots. I kinda need a step-by-step though because this map is very confusing.

It's behind the area where you climb back up, through a gate that you mist through, that's where you meet up with Alucard, kinda hard to notice honestly.

Theres a small highly unnoticable alley between the burning rubble and the billboard sign's jump points. Thats where the gate is you mist through.

It's really easy to miss, kinda stupid really.

Yep !! I had the same problem and those creatures keep respawning also.
