I figured it out on my own (after a full life bar depletion and game over restart). The problem lies not in the design of the stealth puzzle, but in the preparation for it. I think there were 2 or three instances where you used the mist prior, but it was for getting through grates and such. That compounded with the fact they added the bells as a distraction really confused people. I agree with him. The developer did an extremely poor job with this section of the game.
You'll make it with mist form to spare if you do it that way.
Really, the entire Agreus 'puzzle' epitomizes the stealth in this game: superfluous.
Pretty much this, but I personally would utilize the bells to draw Ag as far away as possible.
After you confuse him with mist, hit a bell to gain more distance, and repeat previous mentioned steps.
It really is a bumb rush type scenario!
