Better story but more poorly told. Better combat. Better graphics. I find 2 to be better than 1 but it's making me want to go back and play 1 to see if I might have misjudged it.

They both were pretty great for their time (at least to me). It was the story/setting in 2 that was just off the rails. Going modern was abysmal. Otherwise, it was a fun action game.

The player base is probably different and ratings not mean game quality because some low quality games get many positives reviews on Steam with generic "Good" or "GG".
Many players could not played the 2 games. Anyway is not fair to LoS 1 in numbers.

People are haters, this has better combat and graphics. That alone makes it a better game.

Personally like the 2nd game more because of the fact that you don't need to button smash in a puzzle to pass something, unlike in the first game where you encounter the first giant, I had / have so many issues with that, and that within itself did not want me to play the game any further, in here, I can forget the overly God of War like button smashing and just chill and relax.

It's better in some aspects (graphics, combat, exploration) and worse in others (story, having those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stealth missions)

Cutscenes all over the place and between that its dumb fights and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ stealth things. When will i be slaying monsters?

Starting to understand why this has way worse metascore that the first game.
