Any way i can start a new game? The other options on the board didn't work for me.
I'm on Steam Deck and tried multiple methods to get this to simply start a new ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. I've disabled Ckoud Save and deleted the save files where i was told, i deleted all the related files and "checked integrity" and i've even reinstalled it completely with no success.

Why is something as basic as starting a new game so damn difficult?

Disconnect internet and delete the save files again.
Now run the game. If it loads your old save, then it means you didn't delete everything.
Is the game installed in the C drive?
Search for the files Profile.LordsOfShadow2 and Profile_A.LordsOfShadow2. Maybe they're somewhere else.

If the game did't load your old save, then play until the first checkpoint, exit/run the game again to make sure it's saving. If everything is OK, reconnect internet.
The next time you run the game, Steam will probably you which save you want to keep.
Choose the latest one.
I hope it works. 👍🏽

There is no "C drive" on the Steam Deck that i'm aware of.

/home/deck/ . local/share/Steam/userdata/101092353/234080/remote/
where 1st number supposedly is your steam account id and 2nd number is the game id
