The soundtrack is AMAZING
The end of LOS
LOS2 - Better combat, music
LOS2 had terrible environmental and gameplay choices that severely brought down a possibly amazing game. The stealth segments are both a chore and are nonsensical. You can take out a giant hulking Boss, but you better not get spotted by that buff guy with a gun because he'll insta-one-shot you!
Like others have said, the industrial/futuristic setting is just lame and uninspired. The most enjoyable aspects of the game are when you actually travel to Dracula's Castle. The DLC where you play as Alucard is very enjoyable and remains in Dracula's Castle.
i'm actually kind of suprised that it has a mostly positive rating. i might give it another try, but iunno.
Lords of Shadow 2 is terribly underrated.
