Game won't start anymore

I just started the game today and have put a few hours in. Just got back to my PC to play it and the game won't launch anymore. It registers as a background process in task manager and then eventually gets an error and shuts down. What gives? Other games in my library are launching just fine.

Yeah, that's exactly the message I get every time. What the heck does it mean? My other games launch just fine.

It happened today with me. To fix I just uninstalled and installed again (not the best solution since you have to download again)

Reinstalling the game didn't work. What ended up working for me in the end was going offline and then restating in online mode. Not sure why that worked.
