Great. now game always crashes when i loading near this place. Can't play more.

upd.
ok. I was able to boot into a stable place with other saves, but now the game crashes and elsewhere. eg 1st floor - a room with a safe. located in the same wing, probably concerns the entire wing completely.
problem is compounded by my attempts to fellow 100% loot =)

Hey, I have been having the exact same problem for 4 days now. If I even look there, the game crashes instantly, making the chapter unplayable.

I tried the Steam methods of fixing crash issues and also this:

Don't seem to work for me tho.

Sorry to hear you are having this problem. If you can provide a .dmp file for this problem I can pass it along to a developer to investigate.

Ok. Thank you for helping us. Where can I transfer the .dmp file exactly?

Nice one :). I tried the same but it still crashes, even if I keep looking in to the sealing or the floor

What's strange, I normally go to this place, robbed the guards and etc.. But after went to a staircase through the second floor - the door to the library, where a screenshot is made - this problem started. Perhaps a script full of runs.

Yes, this is very strange indeed. Im running the game on windows 8.1 aswell. Wouldn't be suprised if it turned out to be the reason for all this.

The game frequently stops responding in that area for me too. The same faulting application and module, exception code and fault offset. Running Windows 7 64bit.

Did some more testing and found a workaround. The crashes are consistent and reproducable when running the game in 64-bit mode. Changing to 32-bit mode (launcher > options > Tick 32-bit) doesn't crash for me. Might be worth a try.

I tried your method and the crash still happens. I really hope they are making a patch at the moment.

Hello guys,

We really need to have a look at your files to be able to investigate properly. The Steam forum doesn't have a way to send files, so you'd need to upload the .dmp files to an online sharing drive or website that will (temporarily) store it for you, and post the link here for download. Don't forget your DxDiag files (for system information) and Thief.log files (or post those here).

Also, does the crash occur when you walk into the hallway from the other side?

Thank you!

Thank you! I have forwarded your files to the devs.

About you question, i dont now. I passed this mission only once, but I am sure that the problem started exactly where I have shown in the screenshot in the first post. Before this I went to the door on the stairs and etc.
