Steam Deck

Anyone try this on their Deck? I was astonished to not see a single mention of this in the discussions anywhere. How'd it do?

Heya! Works perfectly if you have "Controller Companion" off of Steam. I must admit I'm using the Lenovo Legion Go (So sort of similar to a Steam Deck)

I just map the buttons on my controller to the corresponding keys in the game and it's as if it was made for console / controllers after. I'd recommend getting the "Tfix" mod which is pretty much necessary if you want to play it on modern computers. Allows for better resolutions, controls, etc. Any questions just let me know!

Also works well for me. The gyro for aiming is not the best, but maybe I should spend more than 30 seconds setting it up... :D
Everything else is great.

Yep it runs incredibly well.
I grabbed one of the community controller layouts that had gyro.

I came here to find the answer to this question. Was thinking about giving this game a go on my Steam Deck. Glad to hear people are having success! I'm looking forward to giving this one a try!

I've discovered that you can't rely on what's said on the store page unless it specifically says "Verified." I've played games that were labeled as "Unsupported" without any problems at all... and I've had problems with other games that were listed as "Playable."

I'd say I have about a 50% success rate with "Unsupported" and 90% success rate with "Playable." Your best bet before buying a game is to find a thread like this on the forums or or protondb... and if it doesn't exist, create one.
