booster packs are they worth of it? and the other DLCs?

I am thinking of buying this game now. Because the sale looks fair to me now.
But which pack do i have to buy?
Master piece looks for me as a junk. Soundtrack I can hear at youtube. Comics I think as well I can find there. What else is important... Art book? if it is digital I can dowlnoad it but not able to touch it... so this have no value for me. And what about the booster pack.
I suppose that in the game there is a leveling system and booster pack just boost you to higher level than you should be at the beginning of the game. So what is the value in booster packs?

I suppose that DLC The Bank Heist and the other DLC The Forsaken .. that is something that can be played. Forsaken cost 1,25 euro.. so i can think about it but heist cost 5 so no way. For 5 euro I can buy one game in sale. Not just one map.

So please am I wrong in my thinking. What Do You think about that?

the bank heist is a great dlc very immersive ( and its part of the game- city hub world )and the only one worth buying ;)

Booster packs do not boost your level as there are no levels in this game. Booster packs contain arrows, poppies, money I.e. items to help you get started.
As for the other 2 DLCs I like them both. The Forsaken has 3 challenging maps full of things which you have to steel for a certain period of time. Those 3 maps are from the game but with more loot. I like this DLC, relaxing and fun.

Forsaken has 3 challenging maps....they are not required to play and finish the game ....thay are like a side activity , if you like to grab loot with a time limit !

Seems like a given to me to buy the whole thing or nothing with this sale going on. What's the difference between the base version and the one with all the DLC included? $0.80-$0.90?

RyerStar. so booster packs are helpfull in begining, you said. And somewhere I found that they somehow influence the game mechanics and game is not so fun because the challenge is only without them. (in that post there was something about AI disfunctionality...I don't remember what about that)
So is it possible to turn them down (booster packs)? If I want the challange? I am used to play hardcore modes in almost every game (if it is not so frustrating to continue in storyline or in prrogression)

ramyland - Forsaken is necessary to play if I am looking for all achievements, am I right?

Mdubb187 - If my calculations are correct then 20 € per each part in Thief Collection bundle if you are going to buy them alone now in sale. But only 12 € in that bundle. That is around 5 € more than standalone basic game. Master THIEF Edition doesn't include all DLCs.

Well, the booster packs items are put into your inventory chest in the Hideout. If you don't want them, don't take them. But you can pick 1-2 arrows, some poppies and money cause you better have some money at the start and buy the tool you need for screwdriving, it's very helpful, you gonna need it. For me those booster packs haven't influenced anything except I had some water arrows when I started, I didn't know I'd need money and played just with the few arrows I picked from the chest.


As for the Forsaken DLC - a player says he had 2 of the challenge maps with the game, for me all challenge maps only unlocked when I bought the Forsaken DLC. Now, I don't know, it could be those 2 maps were pre-purchase bonus. But The Forsaken DLC is a map for a ... how can I say ... interesting location.

Maybe buying the collection edition is your best option. Some say it includes Master Thief edition which contains the OST, an art book and a comic book (I think). Plus all the previous Thief games.

Good for you - it is a great immersive game :) - if you are a completionist and like the stealth aspect / challenges you can spent almost 200 hours in the game !
