Can't jump across the roof

On Chapter 6, no matter what I do, I can't jump across the roof. I keep falling to my death.

I have included a screenshot with a red arrow pointing to where I can't jump to.

I even tried lowering all of my graphics settings and screen resolution to the lowest possible and I still can't jump across. I fall to my death every single time. In both 64 and 32 bit versions.

My computer specs:

* Toshiba Satellite laptop computer

* Windows 8.1 - 64 bit

* AMD A4 5000 series processor. 1.5 Ghz Quad Core (4 cpu's)

* AMD Radeon HD 8330 graphics card - Direct X 11

* 6 GB of RAM

yeah you have to be running full speed to make that jump...i use a controller so i couldnt tell you what keys to press cause i pull a trigger....its not your laptop...hell your screenshot looks sweet...im amazed your running it on a laptop

thats the same kind of jump you make with erin right in the beginning of the game.

You probably just have to hold the parkour button during your run up to there.

I was finally able to get it. I ran as fast as I could, then jumped.

Yes. Could very well be. I'm glad I was able to jump across so i can continue with the game.

I cant jump too. But im on windows 7, 64bits. lol. I WANT A UPDATE, it's not possible! i tried 100 times!

I was able to jump accross by lowering the screen resolution to 640x480. Then after I made it across, I put my resolution back to 1336x768.

Even with the low resolution. I try to call square-enix. tired to try.

What are your computer specs?
