Chapter 4 after escaping the dogs

after going over the edge I get another cut-scene where i land on a table with guards standing around it. The cut scene continues to take me over roof tops and up stairs, but have no safe place to hide keep getting killed by the search lite. Any hints on how to procede?

You're not supposed to hide, just run. Run until you drop down on the ground, via a cut scene.

I don't know how you are playing but my cut scene ends and I am still on the roof tops trying to get away from the search light, then die always. I am playing on PC.

if i remeber right...keep running when the cutscene stops.

There are several small cut scenes after you steal the plans and are escaping over the rooftops. It ends with you landing on the ground. It's really hard to explain what way you should go, because there are at least two options. Either way your goal is to get down on the ground level. Take the stairs on the right after the scene with the table and the guards and keep going straight. A cut scene with a flock of birds and then you're there, basically.

A little heads-up. If you think the roof top excape is confusing, wait until you get inside the keep and there's danger and fire around you. When I played through that the first time, I basically just went by gut feeling. It takes a few tries to get through it without taking damage or dying.
I will play through this chapter now and record it and then upload. I need to grind this as well. (EIDOS is sh!t so the game doesn't work for me.)

After jumping out the window of the watch's meeting room, veer right and go up the stairs (keep swooping, you need to go fast lest you be shot by archers). Then jump the railing and keep going straight. After you slide down a small roof, keep dashing straight ahead towards the belfry, keep going thru the flock of bats, and just bail off the ledge on the other side of it - the end. Have fun in the next part :P

How is the next part going? That part is a pain in le derriere! At least if you play with the "zero damage" mod.

Yes this part really SUCKS... even more when you are playing with the difficulty "slower walking" and so on... then you can´t run away from the dogs.. cause you´re too slow... you have to swoop all the time.... this really is stupid.. and the developers have done a terrible job!!!!
