When I did my 2nd to last playthrough. I only spent $ on the wrench, wire cutters and razor. Finished every mission in the game. I had $27,000+ saved up. Then I finished getting every single collectible and it bumped me up to $57,000+. I bought Spectral Aspect and World Slayer at the same time. It was a nice surprise. But know this, spectral aspect is for them being able to see you. They can still hear you the same as they did before. It's VERY nice to have, however, it's not as noticible of an upgrade as World Slayer is.

ssrader: You can also do client jobs over and over to get money. Like the Bank Heist. You get 1067 golds for each run, if you get all the loot.

Speaking of the bank hiest! I finally found the last piece of loot I needed. Took forever and I refuse to look up these online. It was that damn flask outside on the rail. Where the guard is and the camera. Next to the food + throwable. I feel so acomplished! :P

For anyone trying, that flask is best to get last thing you do. Because the guard standing next to it is patrolling then, when you escape the bank. Trying to get it before you get in is difficult. Especially on Master and all those settings on and not shooting down the camera. You have to totally sync it with the guard standing there, the two patrolling and the camera. Too much hassle.

Yeah, it took me a second to realize what happened to him when I left the building. He almost caught me, I had to do some sweet swoop maneuvers to prevent being seen, lol.

I didn't understand he was patrolling until quite recently. Guess I was too occupied trying to just sneak out before. But the way I noticed it was that I had knocked out a guard and it kept changing music into alert mode, so then I understood that one of the guards was patrolling or patrolling in a different pattern.

Speaking of guards patroling. Same thing happens at Eastwicks house. The cross bow user outside on the balcony is the same guard who is patrolling the stairs inside. Once you get inside, he comes inside and starts his patrol there.

I don't quite recall that one. But yes, the guards are kind of stalking you, which feels a little too scripted. I mean, how can they know when to change routes? If they have no idea you're around. Also this can cause you to mess up, on behalf of the game. There are just so many bugs with the game about the AI from the guards.

No need to take it to a fresh game. You can replay all the missions. Unless you don't like the settings you put it on...

I know . however it would be nice if they would respond everything including basso missions and your begining invatory.and there's no work in getting collectables as you already got them and so on ??? It would be nice to restart a new game with a stronger better Thief. I can always keep a hard save of this game style.

I have not purchased World Slayer but just got Spectral aspect. I am playing on master and it is ridiculous. I swoop into a guard, he turns around (yellow eye) yelling and what not, staring right at me, right in front of me, and does not detect me unless I sprint or bump him again. I would assume it would be quite easy to pick a mission with good loot and is quick and just fly through it without worrying about anything. Honestly it's crazy. COMPLETELY unrealistic so I only plan to use it to mess around but not for anything serious.

Since you can't get SA until after finishing the game, I think it's designed mostly for what imd13 is doing...just messing around. I agree, it's almost like a "notarget" cheat mode.
