chapter 7 Ghosting

has anyone been able to get 100% on this chapter? everything except the courtyard near the mission start seems to be pretty possible. the problem im having is getting through the yard without causing any distractions. has anyone done it without an alert?

so far ive been able to get 100% ghost rating on chapters 1-4. chapters 5-6 appear to be broken and dont allow 100% at this point.

Yes it can be done but it's very dificult, especialy if you're going for all loot and colectibles. It took me probably 2h to get through this chapter, cause I like to take things slow and try diferent tactics.

so confirmed you can get 100% ghost rating? how did you pass the courtyard? im working on that 28k trinket to see if it will allow me to pass by without anyone becoming suspicious

Sorry, I should've said that I did get the ghost raiting but not 100% and I don't think you can if you're going for all loot and colectibles especially in the last part (the Boss fight).
The way I got past the courtyard was as in this guide http://youtu.be/0frULlg3FoA but without causing distractions, raising suspicions or turning off the lights and torches.

thats what im getting at. every video uses some type of distraction. have yet to see anyone pass this part.

Do it and see for yourself. It is possible, I did it too. You need to wait until both the guard on the balcony to your right and the guard that circles around the yard turn away. Then crouch and move to the door in the building on your left. Stay as close as possible to the crates with the bird. The guy by the gates will start to suspect (white eye is filling), but will not become fully suspicious (no dots above the eye). If you do it right you'll pass the yard with 0 suspicions. Though, I don't know if it will work with slowed movement.

strange ive spent a solid hour and a half trying to make that move. the bottle distracts him every time. are you playing on master?

I was playing on master, and it worked. About the bottle - maybe you should wait until the guard walks farhter from you, or just stay even more closer to the crates not to touch the bottle, I don't remember how it was exactly, but it worked.

Nope, I'm playing on THIEF dificulty. Gonna go MASTER or CUSTOM on my second playthrough. The best time to do it is when the guy on the balcony goes to the dark area (3:07) and the guy that circles passes you (3:13)

When you got to the second part, which is immediately after where my video ended, how did you disable the trap since the guard leans on some crates right next to it? Or did you go around it and not disable it at all?

I played through this chapter only once and don't quite remember. The part in the yard I do remember well, because had spent a hell lot of time figuring out how to pass through it without suspicions. If the guard you're speaking about is the one I remember - I just left him alone, and didn't touch the trap. I was obsessed by ghosting and would rather miss loot than disable traps. Also, if I remember correctly, there was a way around him and into the room with a trap, and another trap box was in that room. I might be mistaken though, I haven't reached this mission yet in my second playthrough. Maybe will be there tomorrow.

Yeah I also went around and entered the trap room from the top. Although I got hit, it didn't kill me so I still got the loot.

damn....ive tried that courtyard part about 100 times and cant get past that guard. even with focus they spot me or hear that bottle. its the guard near the entrance and not the patrol that catches me. on master level you cant seem to pass by like the video shows.

You can pass on Master, I did it, and some other guy whom I said the same thing in another thread.
