Boss Fight?
Oh No! hate boss fights and now I am reading thet there is a boss fight. I remember when they messed up Deus Ex like this. Is this the end of the game? Anyway around this or should I just resign myself to not finishing game as I kinda hate boss fights. How is there suddenly a super-human "Boss"?

Would you consider the great safe scene a boss fight?

Then end of Chapter 4 isn't a boss fight, as the Thief-Taker General leaves after siccing a bunch of regular guards on you.

As for the first real boss fight, that comes at the end of the penultimate chapter, and you can choose to avoid fighting and instead leave.

The final chapter has a bit at the end that involves avoiding an enemy and trying to collect three items to finish it.

I couldn't avoid him and leave, like I wanted to do, so I resorted to planting arrow after arrow into his face until he let me pass. It was actually pretty satisfying to finally put that wart-faced buffoon in his place. Ah, sweet justice.

Doesn't sound to bad. I think bloodraven43 forgot his meds.

In Deus Ex Human Revolution there was an option to go with either stealth or combat. After building up all the stealth options you suddendly encounter a massively armored heavy explosive boss. Almost ruined the game but.

Who? I recall Walton Simons and… who else? The characters who qualified as "bosses" in the original game could all be dealt with in less-than-climactic ways. Killphrases, stealth, simply killing them before their dialogue began...

Günter Herrmann! my first Bossfight where i shoot all my tranq darts on him and he dont want to fall over.i stucked in the vents in this fight.yeah its true when u know the places and the mechanics they are none "Big" fights.but this is the same with deus ex HR DC.the boss fights in this version are pretty well for all builds
You could circumvent every boss fight in the original Deus Ex. I'm fond of killing Anna Navarre before she has a chance to become a boss. Did the same to Simons on my second playthrough. Only boss I actually fought was Gunther.

In the Director's Cut of Deus Ex: HR you have more options for boss fights. Not just blasting away.

Edit: I used turrets on Barret.
