Chapter 3 help?

Trying to solve medallion puzzle. I've found all 4 symbols but can't make any out on the medallion because they're tiny as hell so I consulted a walkthrough and apparently the correct ones are supposed to glow blue. There are blue glowing symbols in 3 out of the 4 rings so I've tried every symbol in the non-glowing ring and none of them are right.. Is this a glitch or am I being incredibly slow here?

You have to find all symbols to make them glow. You are missing one, or didn't look at it long enough. Do you need a list of the locations?

Well the quest objective told me I've found them all and I know they're in 3 rooms beyond peepholes and one in front of the podium.. :-/

Edit: Yep just looked at them all again extra long with focus on to be sure and there's still one ring not lit up. And my objective list tells me I have them all and to solve the puzzle.

you might have to restart an earlier save then. i never had a problem. kinda sucks. I keep several manual save points just in case.

Tried going from an earlier save and the same problem occurred. I checked the medallion after finding every sign and it's the symbol in the empty peephole room that doesn't light up. Anyone have any other ideas? Really don't fancy having wasted £30 for only 3 chapters of gameplay -_-

Yeah, and you're not even to the best levels of the game yet! That would be a shame. I'm not sure what an "empty peephole room" is...

You could always get someone else's save game and go from there. Not ideal, I know, because of the potential for having different levels of completion but it's an option at least. Better than starting over, certainly.

Did you make sure to check out the symbol on the wall/door next to the pedestal? The one that causes Garrett to comment about "chicken scratch"?

Hey all thanks for the suggestions! It turns out it was a graphics glitch which made all the wrong symbols light up or not light up at all. Apparently other people have had the same problem and it fixed itself after restarting the game five or six times.

I have the same problem - very disappointed but will try re-loading

Honestly try restarting a few times, even if it means waiting and trying again another day as that's what fixed it for me. Frustrating but worth a try!
