do you earn focus points for lighting candles?

After lighting all 32 candles, you get just one focus point. That's what dimmu1313 means by "disappointing".

Holy necro batman! Glad someone commented though. My guide got pulled from the list of guides over a year ago, for no reason whatsoever, but the page is still up so it's nice to see the forum posts get back to the front page with comments :)

I am so glad I didn't bother with hunting down candles... I saw my first candle, spent like 15 minutes trying to figure out how to get to it, what to do about it, before firing my one and only blast arrow at it... then saw a couple more candles and said NO!
