Free Roam? (Yes)

does anyone know if Thief is Free Rome or Mission based, I am the type of person that dont mind either but just liked to know what I may be playing in a few weeks.

From what i understand. its free roam in a big city with some story missions, missions like enter a Manor or a bank then steal something then get out and such, but when you are not engaging in the story missions your free to roam and steal in peoples and merchants houses. correct me if im wrong.

And OP, it's free roam, not free rome. Upon seeing "Free Rome", first thing came to mind was Assassin's Creed Brotherhood lol.
