How many hours of game ?

i have 78 hrs and more to find and the dlc to play...main story about 40 hrs long if you do all the side quests allong with the main story.

I'm just curious, how do you guys put so much time in this game? I thoguht this wasn't sandbox and was mroe linear than the previous games?

To be honest I haven't played any previous Thief game. This one is linear in the mainstory missions but you can explore freely outside of these missions. The game is full of secrets and sidequests. I did 5/8 mainstory chapters (as far as I can tell from the achievements) and I got like 17 hours or something like that. I also want to complete all the sidequests so I think i will get to 25 or something. I don't try to 100% that game because that would take multiple runs through the complete game. Maybe thats why a lot of people have so many hours in it.

I suggest to buy a steam key for about 10€... it's the better deal ;)

its not a per say sandbox game but their is plenty to do.

As a big fan of the original series, my disappointment started since the intro. I had to force myself to play it for 2 hours, then I uninstalled it and went back to The Dark Project to wash away the sour flavour.

It only took me 46 hrs to do the main quest and all side missions. I wasn't rushing through, either. There just isn't that much to do, unless you are trying to get "ghost" or "100% loot".
