thief´s insane power usage

Hey so i recently downloaded thief and tried to play it the thing which weirds me out is like that this game is sucking 200 watts from my gpu (rtx 3060ti) even though im like having every settings on low, playing on 1080p shouldnt be the case either, i also did like capping the fps to 50 on the game but it didnt do anything, like is the game just poorly optimized?

Yeah, no way Thief 2014 on low, 1080p, capped to 50 fps on a 3060 Ti is using 200W

I'm playing on the highest settings 1080P 120fps and according to GPU-Z my 3060 Ti is using 90 - 120 watts, if I uncap the FPS it peaks out 200-210W so be sure you're actually fps capped (enable fps readout).

I'm playing Epic version since it's free but should be the same.

no problems 155-165w i use RTSS for 15 years and a have a 600w powerfull 4090 and 235w 5950x this is not a competitve game you dont need to run at 240fps
cap fps to 120 and run perfect smooth, you can use new nvidia app or use rtss with reflex frame limiter
