What is the point of them? I believe you don't get paid upon completion so why do them?

For fun ye cheese bag. I just find it strange that we don't get paid considering Garret literally emphasized he wants coin to fat-man Vittori.

He does get money while doing the side (or main) quests.

You will find money which then you can use it to buy stuff.

Some side quests give you even more money if you manage to complete optional objectives.(Remain undetected,Collect all the gold etc)

That went right over your head. You do side quests for the same reason you play the game, at all. You should look up the meaning of "rhetorical question" as I think you missed a few chapters.

Idk im not sure, there's no animation for him giving money and no pop-up. So it's possible he does get payed but I just didn't notice it.
