Help before I dive in

I know with JRPGs you basically have to do research into missables before trying to 100% it, so I want to make sure of some things.

Is this game actually a one-to-one correpondence with FF3 in general? So if I look at an FF3 guide, will it match up to this?

I ask because the item collector and bestiary achievements are the big pains for this game, and I want to make sure I don't miss anything missable here. I've compiled a list, but I believe I may have used FF3 data while compiling it, and it's too late to try and figure out where I got what research.

I can give a compilation of my research, if needed. But if FF3 and the 3D remake are literally the same in these regards, then I "should" be okay?

seem to have everything that needs to be collected. Also, a guide for the 3DS version by Seferaga is very good for general directions
