It auto saves every time you enter or exit towns or dungeons though. So there's very few occasions when you would lose more than a few minutes of play.
The most annoying thing for me is that if you leave the game running, and go do something for 10 minutes or so, my wireless 360 pad switches itself off.
And I have to exit the game and restart to get it to pick the pad up again.
This is specific to people using wireless pads though I suppose. So no worries to most.
And it's only caught me out once where I actually was in a dungeon if I'm honest.
I couldn't fathom what the keys were to get into the menu to teleport out and have it auto save either. So I ended up walking out with the arrow keys lol.
That reminds me I need to check what the keys are ^_^
I even got two achievements prematurely from a bug somehow. Got the two gil-related achievements randomly when I only had 5000-ish gil.
Maybe it is related to OS?
The game holds an auto save for you every time you exit / enter a village / dungeon /enemy encounter (including bosses)...
It's actually quite lenient compared to the DS version of the game which only loaded from Save Slots like the traditional FF's.
If you get in to a battle that you know you're going to lose you can simply press "start" and quit to the menu then choose "Continue" and you will load your state just before the fight... so for example, trying to steal Gungnir from Odin or accidentally fighting Iron Giant are good examples of reasons to quit out.
I HAVE had the game crash on me but it was mostly from checking out the bestiary. For some reason it tends to randomly crash after you exit the mog. No big deal though because it saves your state just as you leave a town.
As long as your party doesn't wipe in battle you can abuse the "continue" system like crazy... You can literally walk through an entire dungeon never fighting a battle, just collecting treasure :)
The lack of save points makes me not interested in this game
:)
Are there any way to repair this kind of bugs, or should i uninstall this game now?
I also use K/M.
