FF1, 2, 4, 5, 6 & 9 for PC?
Do you think we'll see FINAL FANTASY 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 & 9 for the PC?

Sooner or later, yes. But expect it to come out of nowhere, just like FFIII. :sfsurprise:

Personally, I think it's highly unlikely. They would have to remake most of those games from scratch in order to port it to PC. Final Fantasy 4, maybe not so much, since they made a DS port for it a while back. Don't get your hopes up, though.

FF 1 and 2 won't happen. And they shouldn't happen.
FF 3 would be lovely. The SNES version, that is. I personally found FF3 to be the best in the series and I did not care for the graphical overwork they did in the port. Very unnecessary but...what can you do.
FF 4, 5, and 6 aren't likely. 4 recently got a port to DS. Expect a lengthy amount of time before Square wins our hearts.
FF 9 is a lost cause. No reason hoping for it.

Just buy enough FF III copies and the next port isn't far away. Hopefully it's VI or IX. :ghlol:

There were remakes of FF1 and FF2 for PSP. Both were actually a lot of fun.
They could port those to pc. I think its possible. Dont know if there are real reamkes of the later parts. i know that they exist for Mobile platforms, but i would hope that they would make true remakes, if they want to sell them on another platform.

I think its possible. There is money in it for them so business wise I think its not a bad move on Squares part if they indeed decide to actually port them.

FF3 wasn't on the SNES, it was on the NES originally and only got an English port on the PSP.

if these ports contuine to sell well then we might see most of the final fantasy games on steam at some point and ff3 also had a ds aand ios realase

In case you are desperate, all of these games are playable on PC using emulators. Some feel more playable on an emulator with proper control binds(You can bind analog sticks to mouse movement for example) than on their original platform.

FFIV is possible, since they likely still have the tools to port it from the 3DS to the PC, 1&2 are up in the air.

V and VI are unlikely since they haven't been remade into something modern-looking and SE doesn't seem keen on releasing sprite-based games. You can definitely count IX out, it was released ages ago and they most likely don't have the tech to port it to the PC now, the only reason we got VII and VIII is because they already had PC copies and were just rereleased.
