Onion knight class
Since you had to be online and send messages on the DS version of Final Fantasy III. Anyone have an idea of how we will be able to unlock the class in this version?

Also, i don't even know why Onion Knight is a secret class when its the default class in the original version.

I was wondering this as well but looked up the iOS version about it. The quest unlocks once you get 25% of the bestiary. I would guess it would be that instead of the DS version's thing.

That's still only assumptions. We won't know for sure until it comes out. Just because it was like that for the iOS version, doesn't mean it'll be the same for this one.

Just have to wait and see.

Are the Onion Knights OP? I never got the chance to do a playthrough with them on my DS because of the letters but when I looked them up they seemed more like a challenge because they couldn't master anything.

I did some reading and they suck early on. In their later levels they really shine because they get really high stats. But you don't get really good stat gains until around Lv. 90, I think it was.

Onion Knight can equip anything, except for the job corresponding ultimate weapons.
And once it reaches level 90, you gain around 12 stat points per level.
However, since the Dissidia's Onion Knight was so cool, I'll probably use this job with Ingus.

You have to name yourself Davos to unlock this in the PC version.

Luneth is more adequade to Onion Knight Class after you got it, even on low status, its not affect the normal attacks pattern damage ( well at last on psp version ). Only magic damage / healing is affect.

Arc, Ingus and Refia they normal and magic attack damage or healing effects are reduced below lv 1 initiate status.

i belive to make 4 onions to lv99 same time is very hard to acomplished, but not impossible.
