large Chocobo

I am at the forest and have my gysahl greens, but I don't know how to attract him. I think that is the way to the next adventure, but not sure because I have no other hints. I hopw someone can help me with this. Thank you

You need to walk around until you get the message that it smells like chocobo in the air then use the greens from your inventory.

You can call large chocobo's in 3 or 4 but they were originally there to store items since the inventory in the NES/SNES was limited, which isn't a problem in the DS versions.

It works in any chocobo forest , you should get the prompt that you can use the greens. There isn't much point in calling the fat chocobo though since inventory management isn't an issue in this version.

Fat chocobo is a hold over from the original NES version where you might need to hold onto gear for certain jobs but the NES couldn't handle an inventory list that large which once upon a time could make it impossible to pick up new items. The fat chocobo now literally does nothing, you won't need him at any point in the game.

ok, so how do I move on after the molten cave? I didn't see any clues how to move on. I went to Gysahl village and didn't see anything on what to do next.

You need to go back to Tokkul to be taken to Castle Hein. There is a decent walkthrough here http://ca.ign.com/wikis/final-fantasy-iii/Castle_Hein That is the part you're looking for use the rest of the walkthough as you see fit.
