Anyone actually like the graphics?

I don't just mean the art style (which I love). Anyone actually kinda like that the game has low quality textures? It kinda makes it feel like an NES 3D sprite if that makes any sense.

This used to be a DS game, where the textures weren't as bad on such a small screen. I don't mind it but I'm very open about graphics. The art style is pretty cool imo.

Yeah, I wanted to get the DS version at one point but forgot about it. When the 3DS came around I didn't feel like buying DS games anymore. to me it just looks like 3D NES sprites but as polygons. Since everything is so sharr now in HD.

Yes, indeed, it's totally old school, and yes, it is NES level 3D graphics. It's just that the game did not make it to The West until the Nintendo DS version, but I love the game, the graphics and jobs.

It's a little childish, but it's leagues ahead of the FF IV remake, and the monsters do look good.

This is the only old FF game I have played that wasn't on the PS. So it has better graphics than FF 1-6.

I mean, this game is a complete remake of Final Fantasy III...For the NES. And it was also originally for the DS, then ported to the iOS and Android...Which is, unfortunately, the version they also ported to Steam.

I will also say that it greatly fits the game overall. Yeah, they could have gone a more physical, realisitc look..but i feel that would lose some of the "Fantasy" to it.

..Really man? Final Fantasy III was originally released on the NES.

THAT is what the original FFIII looked like. You cannot graphically compare a REMASTERING of a game to the older versions for NES/SNES and GBA. Considering this uses a similar graphical setup to Final Fantasy IV, i can only assume that is what you meant.

I mean when it comes to the crappy DS resolution textures lol. I know they didn't up the textures much or added some sort of blur filter but to me it makes the 3d model look like a live 3d sprite.
