onion knight isn't improving at all.
ok, so before people jump at me, I KNOW that it starts of really low, and doesn't improve till much later on. except, I got the job to level 95 and they are STILL all at 7. did I do something wrong?

Onion Knight strength is based on the level of your characters...not the job level of the class. View the screenshot on the front page of my profile. All my Onion Knights have a job level of like 7 or 8 (very low) but with Level 99 characters they do well over 9999 damage with a regular physical attack. Your characters need to be around Level 93 and up before the Onion Knight class starts to get strong. And yes getting all my characters to Level 99 was very time consuming and very boring.

ok, this is new news. literally (using the actual definition of the word) EVERY other article/faq I have seen says that the stats go up slowly depending on the job level, yet once they hit 92 they jump up.

There stats go up based on that of your characters.

so, if the job's stats are based on the characters' levels, what is the point of leveling the job?

From what I understand job levels increase accuracy, crit chance, and the diffrent job specific actions effect like warriors advance or a dragoons jump.
