Which Final Fantasy games have spiders in them?
I want to know which games have spiders in them because I have arachnophobia (fear of arachnids such as spider).

Off the top of my head,:
FF1 has an enemy called Arachnid
FF7 has one in one area
FF9 has an enemy called Cave Spider but it doesn't look very spider like to me, but you may disagree.
FF10 doesn't have any that I can recall but has a lot of flying insect enemies, so if your fear is more general entomophobia you'll have a bad time.
FF12 has mimics that looks spider-like
FF15 has them I've heard but I never got very far in it.

There may be more, and I'd do more research but I also have entomophobia, though mine is only triggered on close up realistic looking ones (It's something about their eyes and faces, I dunno) and googling "Final Fantasy spider" might get a few real ones tossed in. Sorry!

Is the one in FF7 realistic, and is their any in FF8?

PS: Also I think that I (possibly) won't be scared of the spiders in FF1-FF4 since FF1 doesn't look to scary, FF2 has the same as FF1 or doesn't have any, FF3 has some but the face doesn't creepy so really it's just the legs and rear, and FF4 is like Medusa where the spiders top is human and the bottom is the legs and rear. Anyways, thank you!

FF7's one spider I can remember does not look realistic. The closest I could compare it to would be a daddy long legs where it's a very small round body with oversized legs. Doesn't bother me but I don't know your personal limits.

FF8 TECHNICALLY has one, but it is a robot spider. It looks like a tank with mechanical robot spider legs.

I searched it up and think I can handle it. Thank you for the help!

I also fear spiders, and off the top of my head I remember these games have spiders that bothered me.

FF8: Has a giant robot boss thats similar to a spider, but it's face is not very spider like so it never game me any problems.

FF11: Has non traditional spiders, but they are pretty creepy. Especially cause I played the small race character in that so they were much bigger.

FF12: The mimics are spider like, but they are more like machines so hard to say how that will effect you. If you could handle Goma from Legend of Zelda then you'd be fine, they sorta are similar.

FF14: Has a class of enemies that are like scorpions, though they are more like the xenomorphs from aliens than spider looking. Not very creepy, but they do use webs and have a dungeon centered around entering their nest early in the game.

FF15: Okay, this is the one that you may need to watch out for. I know for certain that there is definitely a spider lady boss at one point. She can be creepy, so be aware of that.

You might not be creeped out by FF7's spiders yet, but you will be :3

It's not because they are realistic spiders, it's because they do ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of damage for the point in the game where you fight them.

Not really, unless you're REALLY underleveled by the time reaching Cosmo Canyon. Stinger and Sting Bomb are easy to withstand.

well the spiders in FF III are really "spiders"
but you don't see them much, It is the only Final Fantasy where I was really surprised by a spider enemy, they are just like a spider.
I do not know if they used some models of FF III for FF IV in that case there must also be the same spider there :happydodo:
LOL
I already looked for it and it is even called a tarantula and they only appear in Final Fantasy III in FF IV only a woman appears with the body of a spider
