Is there a world map theme? - music not playing

Simple enough..I'm not familiar with this game but I've played other Final Fantasy games and they are iconic for their amazing soundtrack.

With this game...I find there's A LOT of silence...the battle theme plays...the music plays when i'm on my boat....but there was no music when flying the first airship...there's no music on the world map. There doesnt' seem to be music the dwarven caves...

Did they just not have tracks for these areas or is something wrong with my game install?

Well I probably should have tried this before posting but just in case anyone else comes across this issue...simply verifying the integrity of the game filles by right clicking/manage../local files/ "verify.." seems to have brought back the missing music.

If there's any audio driver surround filters or effects on, shut them off and play in plain stereo.
