Press Windows key + R type regedit and press enter press okay on UAC prompt, navigate to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\FontSubstitutes

Make the changes pictured. EDIT: MS Gothic looks better than Calibri IMHO!

Restart your computer for changes. Alternatively, sign out of your current Windows user account and sign back in. (That should be faster for most people)
I haven't found another font that fits as well as Calibri, but I might keep testing.

You have to reboot your PC to get Registry changes!

Aswell as making it static or removing the bottom left meny when picking magic or when picking whom to attack or what not. Since its good enough to have upper part tell you stuff : D

I tried different font but it doesnt help for some reason. Calibri is so far the one that works. But pretty sweet!

Try to use "MS UI Gothic" instead. I think that could be the font used in the update trailer from YouTube, for Japanese and English.

Also, make sure you have that font installed on your computer before changing anything in the Windows registry. The font is called (on the control panel) MS Gothic Regular, and there is other one called MS PGothic Regular. It is a default font from Windows, so it should be installed with the OS, but if it is not, just search for it in Google.

Obviously, this is just a temporary solution. Some other programs or windows in the OS will show the MS UI Gothic font for some inputs, not just only Final Fantasy III. So, if you want to change it back, just setup the registry with the default fonts, that are supposed to be "Microsoft Sans Serif" for MS Shell Dlg and "Tahoma" for MS Shell Dlg 2.
