[Question] Gungnir droprate and achieve dual gungnir's
Hey fellow FF fans,

I've googled a bit to search if it is possible to get 2 gungnir's on FF3 PC version. Most of the time i saw an interested topic, it was mostly for DS version and not for PC. I'm not sure if the PC version and DS version is exactly the same but i would like to know from ppl who have 2 gungnir's on PC version.

On this point i spended allot of hours already but seems he doesnt want to drop it so far.

Saw also a variety of topics that ppl said: droprate is 1% some said 2%, 3% etc... Saw also from someone else that said: Odin drop rate is only 8%. In addition, 36% of time, he'll drop elixir and only 27% of time, he will drop a gungnir.

My thief lvl is 71 so i steal 1 gungnir very fast and hope that Odin will drop another 1.

But is it even possible to obtain 2 gungnir's? and which droprate has it? Does anyone have experience with this??

Thanks in advance,

Cheerz,
Madrush.

Not worth it. One gungrir is fine.

I did give up from trying this for almost a day.
But now i feel like having 1 gungnir makes more sense (its Odin unique legendary weapon after all) and the drop was meant to be a "second chance" to get it.
Also if you look at every other weapon types you will notice that you can't get extra copies of the most powerful weapons (except for the onion sword since its drop only).
So after all, having only 1 makes more sense.

P.S: The drop rate is probably 0,3% as i seen in a more accurate gamefaqs guide.
P.S 2: Also worth mentioning that Ozma the super boss from FFIX has a chance to drop 3 dark matter items but the chances to get all drops are by far the most ABSURD+++ thing ever made.
I bet no living being (human or alien) ever got the 3 even if they did play for 1000+ years non stop. This makes FFIII gungnir drop look as it has 100% drop rate lol

Lol that's indeed ridiculous...

Yea i gave up and just play the game how it meant to be playing. Also i'm not waiting on a winning lottery ticket (Gungir) for having a way too small % for the jackpot...
