Going back to previous floor?
hello, i just beat the first boss and acceded to act 2! But it is possible to go back to previous floor? i know i messd some secret room, i'm sure of it! If there isn't any way to go back.... thenn next time i'll do the boss at the very end, it would be cool to have a hint stone that tell us that we can't go back if we go into the boss room!

Hello,

It's possible to go back to the previous floor within the same act, but the doors to previous acts and boss rooms are blocked off, I'm sorry to say.
But then again that might give you an incentive to go and try again with another class!

Noooooo!

I just made the same mistake, entered the Act 2 Boss (The Knight), but want to go back to floor 4 because I missed the achivement :(

Isn't there any way?
Maybe restore an earlier version of the savegame? Help!

Nope, after the boss floors, you are stuck. Got the same problem. But hey, at least you will be able to do one of the achievements that you cant get if you get everything! You need to do 2 playthrough to get all the achievements. Minimum.

Maybe attacking the savegame file with a hex editor? Is this possible?
Yes, I'm that desperate :rfacepalm:

By the way, I can't start a new single player game because this would overwrite my current game progress, right? Or is the game smart enough to do a new save with a new class?
I would try it myself, but I don't want to overwrite my current game ;(

Which achievements do you mean? The only ones I can think of are the achievements for deafeating the Bosses on hard difficulty...

You can start a new game and the game won't overwrite your current save, to make sure you could manually backup the save file (check the saves folder in the game dir).
You can also manually edit the save file, it's not quite as bad has having to fire up a hex editor, take a look at http://steamcommunity.com/app/239070/discussions/0/648816742499208285/ for a tool to convert the binary saves to and from xml, then just find the "level-id" entry and change from "boss_2" to "4". Also take a look at "spawn-pos" which is where you start, that might not match up well when you just change the level like that, so maybe try setting it to 0,0.
