Welcome to visit our homepage at psonline.com.cn.
This domain was previously used by the Chinese mainland-released game version Tactical Commanders. Our studio has now purchased the domain.
On this homepage, you can watch a review of the CG1 video on the second screen, which contains detailed documentation of our project's production process 10 years ago.
We hope this answers your questions. In the upcoming official release of CG2, we will strive to maximize the visual performance, focus on gameplay as the core, and remove some commercialized features. Thank you.
Hello, I can deeply understand your frustration.
Like you, I am also a gaming enthusiast. I noticed that you've shown interest in and purchased games from Paradox Interactive.
As a loyal fan of games like Shattered Galaxy, I played the version distributed by Nexon in mainland China 20 years ago. We gamers in mainland China have not been able to play this game for the past 17 years because the distributor shut it down. This very reason led me to join the gaming industry as an adult, hoping to revive this beloved game through my efforts!
12 years ago, I managed to join the company that distributed the game in mainland China (SHANDA GAMES). After learning that the game couldn't be revived, we tried to rewrite the code ourselves and managed to secure intellectual property rights in China. With the collective efforts of Chinese community players, the game was revived and launched in mainland China 10 years ago (2013). However, the reality was that we failed! The cost of developing such games is too high, and we managed to sustain it for a while on faith alone (without making money).
Today, a decade later, because we still hold this game dear to our hearts, we are attempting to take on the challenge again. The game may not necessarily be launched, perhaps this is why no global commercial game has completely imitated Shattered Galaxy - because game development is simply too difficult! With mobile games prevailing worldwide, there are far too few game studios that truly care about players...
If this game's presence on the Steam store makes you upset or angry, that's not what I want to see. We will consider removing the game from Steam. Thank you for your words. Through them, we can feel your love for SG and for gaming.
Thank you!
In Collapsed Galaxy II, we plan to replace and upgrade almost all materials in high definition, representing a significant overhaul. A test of our engine's capabilities was recently conducted and the results can be viewed in this video: https://youtu.be/3_wnznKeBik
It's important to clarify that the models featured in this video are strictly for testing purposes and will not be included in the final release of the game.
As for gameplay, it will be influenced by our previous installment and TC, the version of Shattered Galaxy that was available in mainland China but ceased operation 17 years ago.
We firmly believe that Shattered Galaxy is a timeless and valuable game, worth studying and referencing. However, we think the priority now is to form a positive business cycle based on the MMORTS gameplay framework. We aim to bring the fun and joy of a truly hardcore real-time strategy game to a broader, younger generation of players. This is more suitable for the player community environment in 2023.
