Heretic 3

After 14 years we cant see a new version of Heretic. There must be a sequel for this great game, Heretic 3. I know here is not the right place to ask for it, but Raven Software should make it. I've made a petition on Gopetition about We want Heretic 3

From my understanding with Heretic killing D'sparil, the Hexen characters killing Korax, and the Hexen II cast finishing off the last serpent rider Eidilon the series is complete.

As far as I know Raven aren't the same people that once made the first Heretic. At least half of artists/programers went away to Human Head. See credits section here http://www.mobygames.com/game/heretic
I don't think it's even possible, considering what titles they're releasing under Activision nowadays.

I agree completely Alex... I have been waiting since I played this on dos! I am just happy that steam put out this collection. But like Breadfan put, its really unlikely since everyone is split, and activison...sadface.

I completely agree! This series has been seriously overlooked, and needs a proper entry into the modern world of gaming.

In the meantime, Hellraid by Techland looks to be a spiritual succesor to Heretic and Hexen.

True, but there is also Heretic 2 which continues the story of Corvus after the events with the serpent rider. Heretic 2 was an amazing game and very great co-op and deathmatch. So a heretic 3 would not be impossible, if the can make a good story in the same universe.

And why isn't heretic 2 on steam? I am to lazy to get my CD every now and then.

Activision laid off 30 or more Raven guys, they don't support Raven projects anymore I think.

How is HeXen not Heretic, they in the same series. But Hexenmod is about the next thing closest we are probably ever gonna get... :/
