Yea it's mandatory in my opinion. I think it's even better in ZDoom than GZDoom. The last time I played the mod it was at v2. Did they ever continue after BrutalhereticRPG v2?

Is Brutal Heretic still available? I was wanting to give it a shot but I can't seem to find a download anywhere on the internet. Closest thing I could find was a download link for Brutal Hexen deep in a ZDoom forum post, but I'm not too eager to try that since I don't care for Hexen's level design.

Most downloads give dropbox as an alternative,you should be able to direct download,check the little icons to top right.Unless I am mis understanding you.
