Having said all that... it is understandable that it is not a video game to your liking, these developers (PuppetCombo & Black Eyed Priest, etc.) usually target a very niche audience. the low-poly style mixed with 80s slasher is a hoot!
Night at the Gates of Hell was my first entry into this creator’s games. It was awesome and really struck a chord with me reminding me why I loved old 80’s horror and gonzo flicks. Can’t wait for Sniper Killer either.
Maybe, since it's subjective. Depends what you're interested in, and know what you're buying before you buy it, like anyone making a purchase should be. Anyway, I digress; I watched Manly play this demo a long time ago and it definitely kept my attention through-out, so objectively it's definitely not a 1-5 on the scale of 10, since those are reserved for the 10,000 Steam Asset Flips uploaded per day, and it actually HAS effort and heart put into it.
The art is also purposefully terrible, in a way where you can tell they stuck to their strengths to make it work; it's apparent that at the very least they know what matters most when working with whatever limitations were behind the scenes; it's cohesive and has charm, and fits the overall design. Gets an A+ in my book for conquering hurdles others would unwittingly fumble over trying the same, but here they definitely have a strong direction to avoid that.
You should join the discord. A lot of good chatter about the game going on over there
Some reason very bad?
Awaiting reviews. I love that the demo was so unique. I hope the full game continues that level of quality. But I also hope it's at least several hours longer.
you dont get it....
Then again, this whole discussion is probably just a bait for jester awards, so it doesn't really matter. I just can't bear comments like this, they are beyond annoying.
