Enquiring minds want to know.

It would have been a similar game that covered the Medieval period of western history. Unfortunately, the first game did not earn quite enough to risk a sequel. Each sequel would take a minimum of 2 years to develop.

Personally, I love this little title for what it is.

the develeper didnt cash in like he had hoped and thus gave up on the game after it bombed majorly despite the fact that people indeed did like it, 2 years development lol you shoulda set it up where all you had to do was add more story content in layers on the engine you already built, what a cop out.

That is a shame. It would be a game I would play again and again. I would Kickstart such a game

I believe he did initially set out to make game for the LOVE of the game making (this game shown that clearly)

Somehow, along the way, the devil of game making business took his soul, shown him that the bottom line matter more.. therefore his only concern now is to make as much as money with as little developing time as possible. (His idea of being efficient in game making business) And that shown clearly too in the later games he made. The Witch Yarn lack soul and passion.

The Witch's Yarn was Mousechief's first, commercial indie game. It shipped in 2006. We added it recently to Steam, to provide all of our games here.

The Witch's Yarn is about a middle-aged woman rediscovering her personal power after the death of her husband to whom she sacrificed her power because of her love for him.

It's a shame there won't be another in this series. I really have enjoyed this game. :(

I really enjoyed it too. Also people who think the developer is only thinking about money: lol. He might have used his personal savings to even make this game. He shouldn't go bankrupt just to make a sequel, no matter how much I'd enjoy it.

It's a pity that 7GS won't be steppin' further, but here's what I know so far:

What Ancients Begat, What Darkness Felled, What Empires Conquered, What Revolution Overthrew, What Industry Produced, What Science Concluded

There was supposed to be another pre-Copper instalment, What Dawn Awoke but somehow it didn't make the cut.

well, I love the game an play it from time to time, its a pity more didnt make the cut, still, I appreciate it and thank the dev for having the drive to make it, art is sometimes underappreciated, but even tho, some do appreciate it...

I appreciated the game! And I'm sure I'm not the only one. If financement is the key point why Step 2 won't be made soon, maybe you can try Kickstarter? I'll certainly back it up!

Also it would really just be writing and graphics.
