Units can now go through AND stand on the same tile as enemy units?
Heemm... is this a bug or actually a new undocumented feature of the latest patch? Because I'm leaning more towards the former.

I noticed this. I can also add that Yggdrasil bugged out, constantly listing "1 turn remaining" until I quit out and came back. The world was swarmed with doppelgangers (even after a Ragnarok and Frailty woe), and there were several units of various factions sharing each space.

...

Oh crap, I've just USED Yggdrasil! I hope that it's gone for me too when it's duration wears off, otherwise that Labyrinth is going to cost me...

Hmm, @Tripas: I think that your bug is fixed in 1.006, which will be out in an hour or two. That action definitely is not intended, but I think it was caused by the same issue that was underlying several things: some stupid AI behavior at times, and some desyncs in MP. The root of the problem was that the playback was differing from the original precalculations of what would happen, and so in the original precalculations it thought the unit was dead.

@Cazier: In terms of Yggdrasil, was that solo or MP? I'll see if I can duplicate it, anyhow.

@Cazier: Okay, that was quick. In solo, I can't duplicate the Yggdrasil problem. If you have any extra info or ways to reproduce (savegame or otherwise), that would be great. :)

OK, so 1.006 is out... and now not only can at least 3 units share the same tile, but they can also pass through empty tiles. And no, I don't mean diagonally where they still might touch some land, I really mean in a straight line through AIR (and no, they didn't have Flying or any sort of other upgrade). My guess is that the AI is failling to acknowledge the lack of a tile after it was removed by Midgar's Serpent.

The whole multiple units on one tile thing, as well as the 'units crossing empty space' thing, has actually been around for awhile now, I've seen it very often.

If it helps, for recreating it, the time when I see both bugs (but moreso the empty space one) is after having used Midgard when I have enough towns for it to create lots of holes. The empty space bit has a really high chance of happening here.

I'm afraid that once I reloaded it went back to normal, so I no longer have a file with it actively occuring. I can't think of anything special I did; Frailty was in effect, then Yggdrasil, followed by Heimdall causing the Ragnarok. Yggdrasil stuck around, but I wasn't paying a lot of attention to how long after when it should hav gone (I was mainly just messing about with different tokens). It was in solo (tutorial in fact).

I think Hera's Peacock was also active (if thats the one that makes units wander aimlessly?). I had a LOT of turns with 100+ units wandering about doing very little, and dying instantly when fights did happen due to the woe in effect. Tbh, it was all pretty funny; things really got out of hand fast.

Hmm, okay, thanks for the added info; I don't think 1.006 did anything to increase the volume of this, but it sounds like certainly the issue hasn't been fixed. I'll see what I can see!
