I think I read on twitter that they're planning to put it on GOG.

From the devs: "Most likely. We just placed priority on the Steam page since Steam gets far more traction than GOG does."

Unfortunately this is a self fulfilling prophecy

When devs neglect to promote their GOG releases, consumers don't know there's going to be a GOG release and either skip the game or look for it on Steam.

By not having a GOG option for consumers to wishlist, there will never be anything to grow and get traction.

maybe they want to focus on Steam Release then GOG afterwards.

I sympathise with the restrictions on time and resources Devs have, I just lament the effect it has on suppressing Valve's competition.

Divinity:Original Sin 2 sold 8% of its copies via gog.
Not Tonight sold less than 1.5%

Both got Day 1 release, the difference was Larian were very clear their game was coming to GOG. It was in every trailer, every marketing bundle and they had a GOG Store page up months before release.

No More Robots however focused entirely on Steam, wouldn't even acknowledge there was going to be a GOG release. Even post release, their marketing stayed focused entirely on Steam. So everyone assumes its Steam only.

Again, I fully understand the limited resources small dev teams have, but this has a direct effect on how well a game will sell on GOG.
