Might & Magic X - Legacy

Broken weapons still a joke
Game is broken until you fix the rediculous frequency of broken weapons. I have no stomach for further gameplay testing until this is fixed.

i dont even fix this, it just looses 10% dmg/armor, so for me it doesnt matter... but yes, after it got repaired it breaks again 1 or 2 fights later...

They should add the repair skill they had in earlier might and magic games.
This is absolutely rediculous, I logged onto the forums to ask about it, but its already here ... I just did the thieves den mission, Straight from town, no fights on the way ... by the time I was half way through level 2 (Had already cleared 1) I had two broken weapons and broken armour ... Somehow, my Orc's mace broke twice .. no idea what that that about

The only joke about Broken weapons is they aren't really Broken. Just a little damaged.

Guys...You know wat i did?, I always carry few extra weapons just in case break, dun sell the weapon so quickly if u got better ones, keep them until u can get some more better ones.which really save a lot of my ass time..
Alphaine Nine Oct 12, 2013 @ 9:42pm
once all your extra weapon are all broken, just bring back to town and have them repair for only 1 price...thing about it the gold you save..

And i do believe soon there will be new skills to be learn, so quit whining about broken weapon, it happens all the time if you guys really play MM 3, then you can understand how this work.

I understand the system, and while I think its flawed I do accept the ability to keep extra weapons on you while dungeon crawling. I found enough to have green or higher quality extra sets just in the act 1. I dont however, know how people are getting this 10% dmg reduction. My swords went from 7-9 dmg (on weapong) and dealing around 10-13 dmg on swing, to when broken they stated ON WEAPON 3-3 dmg and hit for around 5dmg. When i played through the second time I dual wielded with the MERC, and she would break BOTH weapons on 1 enemy. Now, I know you can switch weapons out, which is fine, but as she broke 2, it would take me two full combat rounds to put her weapons back to normal dmg. In the case I am refering to, was on the damned Kenshin boss in light house, which made for quite the annoyance since the fight lasted long enough for her to break another weapon. While I can tolerate the system, I do understand why some are unhappy with the mechanics as are. The game is in early access for feedback, so please dont flame people who are giving feedback as it is counter productive over all. Let the devs sift out the whiners versus the legitimate complaints/feedbacks.

Side note, enjoyed all might and magics up to 8, and am currently enjoying this one. Keep up the good work devs, we understand the game isnt finished and most of us enjoy immensely whats already in the game! Kudos fellas!

just yesterday bought the game and did get broken wep out of town, went back to repair it, not because they are LITTTLE damaged but because when i did hit some enemy, i did get 10 dmg back, at least i did not hit an elite archer who has such a skill dmg reflection, but if thats true, its quiet a great trade off for the bandit cause i did him with wep broken like 1 dmg, he gave back instantly like 10, twas no sence of hitting him, they should give us some skill like the repair skill in the 6-7-8, or at least a spell or something like that, as i said i did broke my wep only once but i could imagine happening quite often and how annoying it could get, like the dragons in mm6, when i didnt evade their attack in the air, could almost always repair the item on the spot, didnt need to get back to a blacksmith for the repair, but i dont really care about it in this game, i like the game as it is and this could be a good restart of the series

agree on that, broke wep too, from 5-6dmg went straight to 1 :), something would be nice, or at least the weps should brake less often

didnt play nothing below 6, but im no whiner about broken stuff, but u can understand that a wep if it broke too often, could be very upseting, then knigts or plain soldiers in medieval times would do nothing else then repair their weps over again, this is a fantasy game, but its nothing fantastic about if ur wepon is broken too often, if there would be something like i dont know durability, or the skill system would be made so that if ur not an expert in wep use, ur wep could brake more often, like if ure a master in the particular wep skill, when the possibility of braking a wep. is almost none, due to ur mastery in using the kind of wep ur preffering

Did the noob dieded? Weapons breaks when noobs dieded. Dont go unconcious.

And have you tried pokemons? Super easy and fun. No broken weapons.

What i really mean is there's a counter for everything in old MM games. You just dont get everything at level 1. If you expect so please be quiet and go elsewhere. You dont need to cry about it. Nobody likes a wuss.

Well First off I dont see how having weapons break three times within 30 turns of fixing them makes me a wuss after all these are meant to be combat weapons, not plasic crap

... Never even played Pokemons, think that must be your main game from the baby language ... Thirdly, If i want to complain "Not Cry" about how often weapons break, thats my prerogative ... And just as a side note, if you have nothing to do but Troll, you should be quiet and go someplace else

First day playing this game and I've already had enough of the stupidity! I'm done playing it for the foreseeable future. Weapons continuously breaking and it's difficult enough getting enough gold for things without having to waste it repairing your weapons/armor every couple battles. I want to be able to enjoy this game but this is an absolutely stupid and useless function.

I wouldn't recommend this game in it's current state to anyone.

I don't know why they don't just turn it off so other aspects can be explored by non-grognards and evaluated without the frustration. OR, here's an idea, allow people to turn it off?!?! OMG

I noticed when killing mobs mostly with range weapons and spells your melee weapons breaks even when you haven't used it much.
