How to install mods.

I redownloaded this game and seen some interesting mods. I downloaded Legends of Ashran and the crusader two handed weapon mod from Nexus. I have no idea how to install them and the directions are no where to be seen. Any inkling of directions are so vague they might as well not even exist.

Does anyone know how to install mods?

You can rather easily modify almost anything with the game's files through moving or changing a couple numbers or small lines of text. So there's really no need for mods at all.

It should be a simple drag and drop into the installation folder of the game. However I couldn't get Ubisoft connect to launch the game after I modified its files - I guess it knew there were changes made. It only allowed me to launch if all the original files were in place. So, although I have a legal copy, I had no choice but to download a crack for the game which allowed me to launch it without Ubisoft connect. This allowed me to also launch and play the game with modified files like the Legends of Ashan mod.
