Does anyone have the *full* manual?
Hey. Strange thing. The manual for the game (in steamdirectory\steamapps\common\Might & Magic X - Legacy\Support\Manual) that Steam downloaded seems to be the "early access" manual, not the released game manual.

Granted, it may not even be a big deal, but as an old school gamer jumping into an old school style game, imagine my surprise when my manual was incomplete! Very strange.

Stranger still is I did *not* take part in the early access program for this game.

If some of you could do me a favor and check out the PDF in that folder and let us know if it says "Early Access Content" right there on its first page.

The early access manual is missing a lot of class and race information. It says, in multiple places, "Early access, more classes will be availible in 2014!"

Once again this may not seem a big deal, as I am sure I could get buckets more info from GameFaqs and the like, but it is just the core of the thing that bothers me. I paid for the game, and it comes with a manual, and it would be great if it were a real manual, fully complete and not in some beta stage ;)

One last thing (and this is wonky as hell): I *did* contact Steam. Got the normal, wonderful Steam customer service ("Oh, contact Ubisoft"). So I contacted Ubisoft and said "Hey, got the game on Steam, and it has the beta test manual instead of the real thing. Can I get a PDF of the real thing?"

Their answer? "Go to c:\program files\Might & Magic X - Legacy\Support\Manual\ and it will be there! Thanks!"

Great! Awesome all around, since it seems Ubi didn't even read a word in the message (You know, since Steam doesn't defaultly install games to Program Files, and I told them I *had* been to that folder and found a beta manual, etc.)

Anyway, I am reaching out to you fine folks. If you all have the beta manual, at least I can use that info to get something done. If you all have the real thing, I guess the internet just hates me and gave me the beta manual, and it would be a fine thing if one of you could send me the PDF!

Thanks again.

Search on the internet for it. and in these forums as well (I believe a post is here). Even the update manual is not that good (its better). You won't find any skill or spell lists at all in, the updated manual. I had to hunt all that info down on forums, etc on the internet. The Updated manual is a UK one.

Thanks a million. I *did* search via Google before I posted the question with no luck. But I *hadn't* searched this forum, and when I did the post came right up.

Here is the link for anyone who finds this post: http://cdn4.steampowered.com/Manuals/238750/MANUAL_UK.pdf

And a sad thing having to go about finding the manual like this. But this is the kind of support you get from Steam sometimes, and Ubisoft *all* of the time, so I'll lose no sleep over it.

Thanks again.

Games should be designed and done with a manual as a complement of the game. Ie a manual generated from game data to avoid updates problems. It will never happen but it should because manuals are missing and wiki take a long time to be complete and right.

It's doing a redirect to find the right language for you, except that there is no en-US version. Try this link:
