Steam Mac version now available!
Hello adventurers!

Today we are pleased to announce you the official release of Might & Magic X – Legacy on Steam for Mac!
Since one piece of good news deserves another, the DLC “The Falcon & The Unicorn” will be automatically unlocked for all mac players!

I don't like either do dev/tech stuff when I just want use my computer even less for playing a game, but it's just select a file in Finder, Command-I to get information anc check a check box. That isn't programmer work at all. :-)

Hello there,

its said that the might & magic legacy deluxe version comes with a free full version of heroes 6. Does this count for mac as well?

There's no Mac version of MM6, you only get the windows version.

I'm not sure MM6 can be wrapped with wine stuff, I had bad experience myself, both by trying myself and by using the Mac wrapping provided on MM pack sold on Gog (MM 1 to 6). I even get troubles with Gog wrapping for MM3 when I made MM3 work very well on Mac through the wrapper set by PlayOnMac, which works also great for MM4&5. But I remember it's not working on my Mac for MM6 neither with Gog wrapper nor with PlayOnMac wrapper and not more with a wrapper setup myself through wineskin.

How can download this game from Steam? I can only download 27MB and then error message from on the running game in MAC.

MMX? Normal size on disk seems 10Gb, for download probably smaller.

Looks like your download get wrong, and the message is hardly from the game with only 27Mb downloaded. It is downloaded as all games on Steam, this one isn't different. If re download still not work, try check cache integrity.

So I need to run this in 32 bit mode? Is a 64 bit version in the works? Multiple crashes, remove, reload and try again cycles have made me wary of additional time wasted. My OS is 10.9.2.

Your OSX can be 64bit as is 10.9 you just need tell it run this app in 32bit mode. It's explained how some post above. It's lame but it's easy to do and for many players like me it changed totally the game, from unstable to very solid with only few minor non blocking bugs. I'm closing the end (I think so but not sure because it's a game where "when there's no more there is even more") and I have a blast and no real troubles, the worse was from localization when you have to input a word.

Your profile seems quite new (just a guess as steam doesn't show anymore the creation date) so perhaps you aren't used yet to some problems steam can have sometimes.

- The first thing in case of any problem is chekc cache integrity: Select the game in your steam library, right click > Properties > Local Files Tab > Check cache integrity button.

- The second thing is uninstall the game: Select the game in your steam library, right click > Remove local files.

- The third thing but it's hardly your problem now, is quit and restart the Steam client sometimes resolves some weird problems.

- Even more rare is that I quoted some problems requiring a computer restart to be solved.

- Now for you problem it's not clear for me if the download is still running but freezed or not. If it's frozen, quit and restart the steam client can solve it. Or also pause the download then a short time after restart it.

Quote that the switch between download/download paused isn't fully clear:
- If you see on the button "Put in pause" it means the current state is it is downloading.

Another my Mac has same problem, and Steam gave me same wrong answer via email...

One of my Mac, which have never install steam mac version before, has same problem... OMG!!
