The Falcon and the Unicorn: a quick review
Let's do a quick review of this DLC. I'll start by summing things up with this: I'm so sorry for people who spent money on it. On with the review now.

We'll start with some general consideration about the first dungeon.
What could be better than stripping the characters of all the items that made their strength, before locking them in a dungeon where every single misplaced footstep means reloading (which still takes bloody ages so maybe, I don't know, it would have been cool if guards just took you back to your cell when they catch you...), and which dungeon's first level ends with a mandatory fight against an incredibely overpowered boss and his two minions who can easily wipe level 32+ characters in just one blow, implying reloading your game until you are lucky enough to defeat him (which I still haven't been yet, after more than twenty tries)? What could be better than that? I don't know for sure, but now that I think about it, maybe taking one or several bullets in the groin or making love to a rusty train under a storm of molten lava could be better ideas to pass some quality time. While the endgame content was surely difficult but far from impossible, I still wonder what kind of party is necessary to defeat that damned rogue in his cell. Nevertheless, for my own sanity and for the sake of my neighbours' ears I prefer to think about it far from my computer, maybe in a corn field or in some open water, in any place where I will not be tempted to start the game again and give it another shot.

On with the guards.
Guards' underground economical system relies on striking deals with swimming snakelike people, which might be surprizing at first, but is easily explained by the fact that they were not able to find the half million gold pieces that were stashed in my characters' pockets - and I would see that as evidence of a certain professional incompetence if you asked me. Hence, they gently allowed me to buy new stuff that was waiting to be bought only to be used against them. I am not sure if there is any actual word in the english language that would properly describe this situation, so I will let each individual find or invent one by themselves.

Now, new stuff I saw.
Apparently someone took a picture of their grandmother's blue morning gown and thought it would make a nice cave texture. Quite fast did I have to turn away from its walls, my eyes bleeding and my ears almost melting at the sound of my own screams of aesthetical agony.

Conclusion.
If I have to pay for it, is it worth its price?
- No.
But I bought the digital deluxe edition so it was free, then I guess you can say th...
- No.

Well, um, thanks for the review.
But, in the future, please don't use words if you don't know what they mean (or make up words). It's confusing. For everyone.

Making up is a right of every writer; Poetic Licence it's called.

Don't be such a bumstick.

I'm going to assume that's supposed to be a joke.

I agree, so far not enjoying this. Enduring, but can only do so 2 hours a night. I miss my heard-earned weapons! Having to resort to 3-4 cyclones for a few guards is insane. Right now I'm just going through this to get it out of my system, as I've been wanting a new Legacy adventure for some time. But this, this is not rewarding :(
Your review made me laugh, and then cry a little inside.

THIS. So much this. I actually dropped into the forum to see if they had patched that ridiculous fight. I didn't mind the insta-death guards once I figured out the rules of line-of-sight, and I could even (barely) put up with being stripped of all my gear, but this bloody fight alone made me turn off the game, and I'm not coming back unless it's patched.

My party (Freemage, Shaman, Balde dancer and Scout) defeated Perren, which was not easy. I used mostly Fire Ward (Perren casts Fireball), Chain Lightning, Cyclone and Thunderstorm. Fortunately my Scout knows Resurrection spell. I spent fortune on potions. It is frustrating that at the dealer does not have a single decent sword, regardless of how many times it is visited. My Blade dancer can only scratch the bosses with daggers or swords worst quality. And next boss is even more immortal, than Perren.

Just what we needed. :p

32 lvl is pretty low for starting this DLC.
After finishing it I have 36 and got only 1 or 2 lvls while playing.

So, my party BladeMaster, Archmage, Druid and RuneLord, on warrior difficulty, managed to upset Perren pretty easy. Because in Might and Magic world, magic always was the best ;D
People playing with melee-party gonna have a bad time with this contradictory DLC, especially if they can reach second boss.

Isn't it great that a balanced party of both might and magic has trouble in a game called, erm, Might and Magic?

Erm, have you ever played the Might and Magic Games tehy're supposed to rely on? Well I did. And I wonder if they really did. Sincerely. Because back then, whenever you had to face a challenge that was too difficult, you always had the choice to come back later.
Me, I killed Mister Mean Faceless guy before gathering all the fragments. Got some lucky crits. Got the end credits, ended up in Karthal. Went back inside, allll the way down, finished the last level of ker-thal, got the end credits AGAIN, immediately got arrested... with zero food. :( I don't know if you usually end up with zero food, but it is sucktackular. I'll come back to the game later at some point I guess...

You wili be able to buy food soon. Don't worry.
Will... will it become fun soon?

It is. In its very own special way of being fun.
