Mysterious Cave - Shadow Woods

Need help with this.
I guess you need to use the pressure plates to lower the pillars in the middle of a room to make a way to the treassure but I just cant seem to figure out what to do with the pressure plates...

I had a quick go at it and left it to later in case there was a big beasty waiting on the other side of that locked door ready to kill a very low level party. If it is the cave I'm thinking of the pillars rotate ? Is so I think you may have to align all the torchs on the pillars to point towards the middle? Only a guess. :)

you just gotta keep stepping one the 2 plates that will progress you, one combination will drop a pillar, then another combination will drop another pillar and so on. I dont remember what relic i got from that tho.

I see, guess I just had bad luck in trying what the plates actually do...though I need to push all of them down at once in a certain way.

I'm stuck on the final move lol. If the room above is the one you speak of, you have to step on pairs of pressure plates in order to lower a pillar, which will usually have a new plate. I'm stumped on the final move however, and didn't keep track as I went (stupid of me).

Yea, thats the room. And I got almost as far as you now, last two pillars are still up

Is there more than one chest in there? I lowered the chest with a relic in it, but there were still 3 pillars left nearby. I messed around for a while before deciding there likely wasn't and left.

There is only the 1 chest I suppose. I only have the central pillar left to figure out, and the only other pillar is all beat up and crooked, so I imagine it doesn't come down. I didn't open any chests along the way.

there is only one chest in it, 2 pillars cant be lowered and you dont have to lower all. I had 1 pillar left at the end but already got to the treassure

Mr. Styckles, since your post helped me figure out how to solve this place, and I was super confused at first, here's a shot of the last 2 plates you have to press (the one I am standing on and the one my cursor is over, so the one directly south of the chesk and the 2 to the right of it).

So I haven't been able to verify this as I forgot to save prior to entering the cave... nor did I remember to log my second pillar drop m(-.-)m but here is what I did remember to record if it is of any help to anyone.

P.S. I have updated the spreadsheet with my 2nd playthrough which still isnt a 100% verification as its hard to see in complete darkness ;) my group this time around is 4 dagger spec bladedancers, though also included the input from others. (Along with other random stuff from my playthroughs that I wanted to remember.)
